The 21st IPAS Exhibition took place from October 21 to 24, 2024, at the Imam Khomeini Mosque in Tehran. This prominent event featured the participation of 250 companies, both domestic and international, along with 10 specialized police departments from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The primary aim of the exhibition was to enhance public awareness regarding the use of safety equipment in homes and workplaces. For the first time, the event also introduced a dedicated section for food safety, expanding its focus beyond traditional safety technologies.
General Mohammad Qassem Nazer, CEO of the I.R. Iran Police Cooperative Foundation, highlighted that the exhibition saw significant involvement from both local and foreign entities. He noted, “While both Iranian and international companies contributed, the specialized nature of the exhibition meant that 80 percent of participants were private companies, with only 20 percent representing state-owned enterprises.”
Among the international participants, 15 Chinese companies showcased their cutting-edge equipment, including police, traffic, and clothing cameras, police firearms, electronic handcuffs, and various other essential tools for law enforcement.
Reflecting on past success, General Nazer emphasized the strides made during the previous year’s exhibition, particularly in acquiring advanced equipment such as electronic handcuffs, police clothing cameras, and speed cameras. “These innovations have greatly enhanced our police forces’ capabilities,” he added.
